Electronic Health Records

Enhance your career by taking Jackson College’s electronic health records course. Students will learn how to organize and manage patient health data in electronic formats by learning about electronic medical software, coding systems, insurance procedures, as well as compliance and financial reporting. Be prepared to explore careers as medical records specialists, electronic medical record systems analysis, and electronic health records specialists.

Students also will have the opportunity to take the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Certified Electronic Health Record Specialist (CEHRS) Certification Exam after the completion of the course.

All applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED.
